Son Heung-min shows true Liverpool colours in telling Mohamed Salah admission
Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has paid Liverpool icon Mohamed Salah the ultimate compliment. The Spurs skipper has claimed that the Egyptian is the best player in the Premier League - expressing his admiration for the 32-year-old.
Salah has continued his superb run for the Reds as he enters another pivotal year at Anfield. Despite the ongoing scrutiny over his future on Merseyside, the forward has been in fine form scoring eight goals in 11 Premier League appearances, adding six assists with Arne Slot's side sitting top of the league.
The record-breaking forward has already shattered accolades this season, following on from 25 goals in 45 outings last term - including firing home 18 times in the English top-flight with 10 assists registered.

Son heaped praise on his attacking rival, when asked who the best player in the world is alongside Spurs teammate Ben Davies, they agreed that the Liverpool forward leads the way.
"I'm a big fan of him, it's unbelievable what he does," said the Korean. "We speak a lot about the players, there is a lot of good players but for many years, Salah has been very very consistent."
There is an ongoing debate in the Premier League with Chelsea's Cole Palmer considered as one of the player's of the season so far after his displays for the Stamford Bridge club.
Despite his heroics for Liverpool, Salah was omitted from both the Ballon d'Or and the African Footballer of the Year voting. Richard Hughes and Slot face important months ahead as they have key decisions to make regarding the contract situation of Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
