FA Cup holders Arsenal continue their campaign with a trip to Southampton in round four.

Mikel Arteta’s side lifted the trophy with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in August’s final, winning the competition for a record 14th time.

The Gunners needed extra-time to overcome Newcastle in the third round earlier this month, and Saturday’s clash with the Saints is the first of two games in a row between the sides as they meet again in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Southampton only booked their place in round four on Tuesday, beating Shrewsbury in a game that was initially postponed because of a coronavirus outbreak at the League One club.

Southampton vs Arsenal is scheduled for a 12:15pm kick-off on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

The game will be played behind closed doors at the St. Mary’s because of current coronavirus restrictions.

Mikel Arteta has no new injury concerns but is likely to rotate his side significantly, with Gabriel and Callum Chambers in contention to start at centre-back.

In attacking positions, Gabriel Martinelli could start after his return from injury, while Willian and Nicolas Pepe may get opportunities after slipping down the pecking order in recent weeks.
