Hi everyone, my name is Nero, and I’m a one-year-old lad who’s hoping to find a lovely new home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust a month ago with my two brothers when my owner moved and couldn’t take us with.

I’m a bit worried at the moment and have been trying to avoid being anywhere near people! However, I do love my food and when they feed me I’m happy to come out. So armed with some tasty treats, the team is hoping that they can win my heart. I just need someone to take the time to earn my trust and show me that people aren't that scary.

I can live in a home with older children who are experienced with cats. I don't want to live with other cats as I’ve previously lived with my brothers and was very protective of my food. I don't want to live with dogs either as I find them quite scary!

I’ll need access to the outdoors once I’ve settled into my new home, and if there was a cat flap that would be great as I could come and go as I pleased.
