Tottenham are on the verge of completing the signing of Bissouma from Brighton, beating a number of leading clubs to the midfielder's signature, and O'Hara feels it's an excellent addition for his old side. "I think he's a great signing for Spurs, I really do," O'Hara told Grosvenor Sport. "I really liked him last season at Brighton - athletic, good on the ball, strong, shows good quality. I think he's a really good signing. What I love about it is the fact that again it's another signing that Spurs are going to get done early doors. "I know there were other teams after him - Arsenal, Man United - but it seems as if players are starting to pick Spurs over anyone else, which is the Antonio Conte factor. With Spurs now and the facilities they've got, they really mean business. I'm really surprised how well the transfer window is going for them right now.

"The Bissouma move is extra sweet for Spurs fans. That's the biggest thing right now, Spurs are getting players over their rivals like Arsenal. They shop in the same window as Arsenal and in the past, last summer, Arsenal had the better transfer window, but this year… We're only in June - it's ridiculous that Spurs have signed three players already, it's unheard of for Tottenham.

"For Spurs to get a player of that quality over Arsenal just shows where they are now and how big getting that Champions League spot was. It's showing that Spurs are going to attract the better players to their team."

With Spurs having already signed Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster, it's been an uncharacteristically busy start to the transfer window for chairman Daniel Levy, and O'Hara says it's all down to Conte.

"It's down to Conte's influence. Conte means business, there's no messing about," he said. "And Daniel Levy knows he can't mess him about or he will walk. You've got a manager now that's world class and has got Spurs in the Champions League when they were nowhere near it in terms of how they were playing. "So Daniel Levy has thought, 'I have to back this guy, I have to give him what he wants'. Normally they would wait until late into the transfer market, try and nick a deal, try and get someone on the cheap. Not this time, not with Conte. Three players in already and the squad haven't even gone back for pre-season!"

A fourth new arrival could come in the shape of Richarlison who has been heavily linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And while O'Hara would like to see the Everton forward brought into the club, he's feels he may have to settle for a place on the bench. "Richarlison would be a great signing for Spurs," he said. "It's not long ago Barcelona were trying to sign him for £70 million. I think he's Everton's best player. I think if you put him in a really good side like Spurs, then he'd probably be better.

"But where does he play? Does he play in front of Son Heung-min? No. Does he play in front of Dejan Kulusevski? No. He doesn't play in front of Harry Kane. So that's the problem you've got, if you bring someone in they're always going to be playing second fiddle to that front three."
