Spurs vs. Warriors: live updates, highlights, scores

When you take a closer look at the votes for players on the All-Defensive Teams, there are more than a few choices that should raise eyebrows.

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs play Wednesday night at San Antonio's AT&T Center in a game with serious NBA playoff implications. The No. 2-seed Spurs trail the top-seeded Warriors by 2.5 games in the Western Conference standings with eight and seven games remaining in the regular season, respectively.

This game comes just two days after the Spurs destroyed the Cavaliers 103-74and oneday after the Warriors handled the Rocketson the road, 113-106.

Warriors forward Kevin Durant won't play; he has sat the past 15 games with an MCL injury. Golden State has survived, going 11-4 in his absence, so there's no rush to bring him back.The Warriors did say he would be re-evaluated in seven to 10 days, though.

Just over two weeks ago these teams played in San Antonio and adepleted Spurs teambeat the even more depleted Warriors, 107-85. The Spurs were without Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tony Parker and Danny Green, while the Warriors sat Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Zaza Pachulia and Durant. Wednesday night's game should feel much more like a playoff game.
