FANTASY ANALYSIS: Diggs trade

But hours before the trade went down, Diggs seemed to add fuel to the fire with his own tweets.

Earlier in the day, after news broke that quarterback Kirk Cousins would be sticking in Minnesota for another three seasons, Diggs sent out a cryptic emoji tweet:

Was it in response to the Cousins contract? Was he pondering life, the universe and everything? Maybe thinking about his lunch choices? Who knows? But a single tweet later, Diggs provided a little more "context" to the situation.

Maybe Diggs settled on Chinese food for lunch and was just reading off his fortune cookie. Or maybe, just maybe, it's something pertaining to football?

Well, in a response to a Twitter user who mentioned Diggs wears his emotions on his sleeve, the 26-year-old promised that something — whatever that something is — is going to happen.

Trading Diggs is a big blow to the Vikings' offense. Though he has yet to eclipse double-digit touchdowns in a season in his career, Diggs and running mate Adam Thielen have formed one of the league's best 1-2 punches at the wide receiver position in recent years. Though it doesn't sound like Diggs particularly wanted that to continue.

Now, we see the kind of pairing Josh Allen and Diggs will make in Buffalo.
