The line-up for the last 16 of the World Seniors Snooker Championship has been complete, with Darren Morgan and Nigel Bond among those to advance. Morgan edged his first round contest with Northern Irishman Patrick Wallace on Thursday to set up a clash with Michael Holt. Fellow Welshmen Lee Walker and Philip Williams also made it through, overcoming Tony Knowles and Bob Chaperon respectively. Walker will now face seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry in the last 16, while Williams has been rewarded with a match against David Lilley. Nigel Bond, who retired from the professional tour last month, will be among the favourites to won the championship, and he certainly put on a strong showing in the first round. Bond easily dismissed Stuart Wilson 3-0, and he will now play 1991 world champion John Parrott in what may be the tie of the round. There are two other former world champions in the last 16 to keep your eye on. 1997 champion Ken Doherty will play Wayne Cooper, who beat American Ahmed Aly in the first round. Meanwhile, 1986 champion Joe Johnson will come up against Rory McLeod after the Jamaican easily dismissed Frank Sarsfield.
