Dale Earnhardt Jr. will leave Martinsville empty-handed.
With 82 laps to go in Sunday's STP 500, a seven-car wreck initiated by Denny Hamlin and Danica Patrick ended up knocking the radiator out of Junior's car.
Earnhardt was behind Hamlin but got the worst of the accident. He immediately returned with his car to the garage.
Junior started the afternoon in 21st position, but finished only 418 laps.
Hamlin and Patrick were able to continue racing.
UPDATE: Earnhardt was still frustrated after the race (WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE):
Damnit. What a shitty result after having such a fast car. I'm was a damn blast out there today. So pissed.— Dale Earnhardt Jr. (@DaleJr) April 2, 2017
