The professional dancers were set to perform at St David's Hall in Cardiff as part of their joint tour and respective solo tours, but due to a concrete issue with the venue, those performances have since been cancelled.
Anton took to social media to share the news where he revealed that he is "gutted", (via The Mirror). Alongside a sad face emoji, the statement read: "UPDATE – Sadly as the venue remains closed indefinitely due to the RAAC Concrete issue, the following performances at St David's Hall, Cardiff have been cancelled."
Anton and Giovanni begin their Together tour in June 2024 in Hayes, finishing the following month in Salford. The shows will see the pair perform breathtaking routines that blend a variety of traditional and contemporary dance styles.
The dancers have a busy year ahead. Anton is set to present his evening of song and dance in An Evening with Anton Du Beke, starting next year. Giovanni will also embark on his live tour, Let Me Entertain You, where he will be joined by fellow professional dancers and West End performers.
Fans of the duo will also be excited to hear that Anton and Giovanni will be taking a sun-soaked trip around Spain in their upcoming three-part series, Anton and Giovanni's Adventures in Spain.
Following the success of their Sicily-based show, Anton and Giovanni's Adventures in Sicily, the bromance continues in 2024 with sangrias, surfing and flamencos.
"It is such a treat for me to be able to take my dear friend Giovanni to a country that I hold so close to my heart," Anton said. "What a joy it is to be able to share this marvellously jovial jaunt with both Gio and all the wonderful viewers watching at home. Magnifico!"
