Strictly Come Dancing 2011 winner Harry Judd and his violinist wife Izzy Judd have revealed the sex of their new baby ahead of the little one's birth.

Harry and Izzy announced in April that they are expecting their third child and they have now shared the news that they will be welcoming a baby boy in October.

The couple, who married in 2012, shared the news in a sweet Instagram video featuring their two children, five-year-old daughter Lola and three-year-old son Kit.

In the clip, Lola and Kit are seen kissing and stroking a sonogram photo of the baby, before Kit plays a mini-guitar and Lola takes part in a dance routine with her Strictly champion dad.

The video also features Izzy playing the violin and stroking her baby bump, before Lola and Kit show off their 'Big Sis' and 'Big Bro' shirts. Lola later holds up a babygro emblazoned with the words 'Lil Bro', revealing the baby to be a boy.

Izzy captioned the video with an explanation of why the couple decided to find out the gender of their baby before birth, having not done so with their other children.

"When I was pregnant with Lola, Harry and I decided to leave the gender as a surprise. Having gone through so much miracle medical intervention and fertility treatment it felt like this little secret was the one thing we could keep left to nature. I loved not knowing and Harry being the person to tell me she was a girl when she was born," she wrote.

"When I was pregnant with Kit we had decided not to find out but then after both thinking that the sonographer gave the game away when he said 'sportsman's legs' we asked them to write the gender down in an envelope, but we never opened the envelope, even though it sat in our kitchen drawer throughout the pregnancy!

"This time around we decided we would like to find out, mainly for Lola & Kit. It's lovely to be able to share this with you."

McFly drummer Harry commented on the video: "Lola still the only Mcfly baby girl," referencing the fact that bandmates Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones are both fathers to sons.

Harry and Izzy recently spoke of their worry when they both tested positive for Covid-19 in the earlier stages of Izzy's pregnancy, with Izzy saying that she felt "panic" after receiving the diagnosis.

"We have all been living in fear of this virus and we've been so careful for over a year, so it is a shock when numbers are low and I'm pregnant," she said.

Thankfully, the couple have both since recovered from the virus.
