Exeter and Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg has issued a statement denying any plan to exit Devon at the end of the season.
With Exeter recently unloading a pair of international locks, most likely on the basis of salary cap compliance, it was rumoured that Hogg, one of the club’s highest earners, might also be heading for the exit.
He has made 47 appearances for Exeter in the last two and a half years, scoring 14 tries, and was a part of Exeter’s double-winning team last season.
Honouring his contract
“Further to recent speculation about my future, I’m happy to say that I will be honouring my contract at Exeter Chiefs and I am massively excited about the future,” he said in a statement released by the club.
“My family and I are very settled and I’m keen to win more titles here.”
