Twenty stunning pictures showing people's experiences during the coronavirus lockdown have been released to mark World Photo Day.

Leading photo printing company, CEWE, shared the selection of photos from its 'On My Doorstep' competition which invites entrants to share the best of what they've seen during the lockdown.

From scenic walks in the countryside, to precious family moments after time apart, the photos aim to show what the UK photographers have experienced on their doorstep in the past few months.

Clare Moreton, photo expert at CEWE UK, said: “The past few months have been an unusual experience, but with many of us having more time on our hands, there’s been an explosion in photography as people look to document their experiences.

"It’s fantastic to see so many wonderful entrants celebrating our ‘On my doorstep’ theme and bringing to life the unique experiences we’ve all shared over the past few months."

Five winners from the competition will win £50's worth of photography equipment and will be eligible to be entered into the CEWE Photo Award 2021, the world’s largest photo competition.

The ‘On My Doorstep’ competition is open for entries until the end of August.
