It was a winning weekend for all three Rovers representatives in international action.
Ash Phillips, Adam Wharton and George Chmiel all featured for their respective nations on Saturday, with the trio all playing in Under-19s fixtures.
Phillips played the full 90 minutes as England emphatically defeated Georgia Under-19s in the first of three UEFA Under-19 qualifiers.
A first-half hat-trick from Sonny Perkins set the Young Lions on their way, with a brace from Oakley Cannonier and a finish from Omari Forson securing a comfortable 6-0 win at the Hjorring Stadium in Denmark, with Wharton appearing as a substitute just before the hour mark.
The final challenge for the pair will be against Denmark today before the squad return to England.
There was also success for Chmiel, who started in Poland Under-19s’ 2-0 win against Estonia Under-19s.
The forward appeared as a half-time substitute as a second-half brace from Tomasz Pienko secured victory for the hosts.
Poland will now get ready for their final outing against Italy today at home at the Stadion Miejski in Gdynia.
