The award-winning drama series Succession is getting ready to glue audiences to their screens for one last time with a 10-episode season.

The show has been one of HBO’s most successful series since it started its run in 2018, bagging the Outstanding Drama award at the Emmys in September 2022 for the second consecutive year.

Talking to The New Yorker back in February, the creator and showrunner of the series, Jesse Armstrong, said that the fourth season was “pretty definitively the end”.

Critics who’ve had the privilege of seeing some of the episodes before they are released have already started sharing their glowing reviews, adding to fans’ excitement.

So, where can you watch the final season of Succession and what should you expect from it? Here’s everything we know.

How can I watch the final season of Succession?

UK fans of the drama series will be able to watch the show on Sky Atlantic.

The season will kick off on Monday, March 27 at 2 am to match the US premiere.

It is expected to follow the schedule of other HBO shows, which sees their new episodes repeated the same day at 9 pm.

And, as always, viewers will be able to catch up on episodes they may have missed on live TV via Sky’s on-demand platform Now TV.

The final episode will air on May 28.

What will Succession’s final season be about?

Season three had seen Kendall, Shiv, and Roman overcoming their long-standing rivalries to band together against their father Logan. But the plan was spoiled thanks to Shiv’s husband, Tom, and the finale ended with Logan on top once again.

The fourth season will start with a birthday party for Logan, and the episode will be called “The Munsters”.

It’s also been revealed that the second and third episodes are entitled “Rehearsal” and “Connor’s Wedding”.

However, the rest of the plot is being kept firmly under wraps for now.

When the ES Magazine team interviewed the lead, Brian Cox, about the upcoming season, he said the word he would use to describe it was “expectation”.
