It is time for Planet Rugby’s Sunday Social, your quirky recap of the serious and not so serious talking points from the past week’s action.

History!!! Johnny ‘five tries’ Matthews writes his own script by being the first player to cross the whitewash that many times in a game. FIVE, yes, you read that correctly. An outstanding effort from the Glasgow man in their dominant win over the Dragons. He has done it in only 43 minutes too.

Strictly come dancing! It really was a spectacle at DHL Stadium as the Stormers faced the Harlequins. However, before the game even began, the dancers were out in full force. Those guys move faster than a flying Seabelo Senatla!

Even after being bundled out of the Champions Cup, fly-half Marcus Smith takes time to sign his boots and make a fans’ day. A lovely gesture and one that could inspire part of the next generation of the sport. Good on you, Marcus.

What a lovely image! Siya Kolisi and RG Snyman embrace after their clash in Durban. It just shows how much it means to both players to have Snyman back on the field and playing after being sidelined for so long.

Tell me you are in South Africa without telling me you are in South Africa. A priceless photo of this fan who made a wide-brim hat out of a beer box. Technique is top-notch, and effectiveness is off the charts.

One of the most wholesome moments of the week as La Rochelle coach Ronan O’Gara gives a young ball boy tackling tips during a game! Class from the legendary Irishman and a moment the kid will not forget.

Just have a look at her face! What a lovely, lovely moment as this young girl goes to a game for the first time! She is genuinely gobsmacked by Cape Town Stadium. It is moments like this that showcase the power of our sport. There is a rugby fan loading there.

Asking for a friend, which one is Peter? In all seriousness, the resemblance between the brothers is absolutely uncanny. A lot of shine in one picture, but a brilliant caption to round it up nicely.

This April fools joke would have half of New Zealand’s hearts shattered into pieces! A brilliant joke that Jordie Barrett is switching across to rugby league. They nailed it, as only last week, the star was training with league side Melbourne Storm during his time off.

That is incredible technique; he has lowered his tackle height to match the pitch invader! Absolutely monstrous from security there. Get him in a Major League Rugby side.
