Jermaine Jenas is likely to be involved as Forest's fierce rivals visit the City Ground, but the midfielder is likely to start on the bench as he will only train with the squad for the first time today.

Adlene Guedioura will sit out the second of his three match ban.

Forest are also waiting for news on Sam Hutchinson's knee injury, although the defender was expected to recover after having an injection to ease inflammation.

Former Forest striker Nathan Tyson is fully fit for Derby, but had to be satisfied with a place on the bench against Burnley, and could be confined to a place among the substitutes again.

The Rams could play with a lone striker, in the form of Connor Sammon and pack their midfield.

Keeper Frank Fielding will be hoping to stay on the pitch for longer than he lasted last season at the City Ground, when he was sent off in the first two minutes.
