French picked up two points in Wigan’s 14-10 defeat at Hull last week. Hull half-back Jake Clifford claimed three points with a man of the match display, with his team-mate Darnell McIntosh getting the other point.
Meanwhile, Catalans’ new recruit Matt Ikuvalu enjoyed a dream debut as he scored a try to help the Dragons beat champions St Helens 24-12 in Perpignan. He picked up three Man of Steel points in his first game, with his team-mates Adam Keighran (2) and Mike McMeeken (1) getting the others.
It was a clean sweep for Hull KR in Round 11 after they eased past Huddersfield 28-0 at Craven Park. Ryan Hall added to his tally after earning three points in the win. Rowan Milnes (2) and James Batchelor (1) claimed the other prizes.
In Salford’s 22-12 win at Leeds, reigning Man of Steel Brodie Croft landed maximum points following an influential display. Croft’s half-back partner Marc Sneyd received two Man of Steel points, whilst Leeds centre Harry Newman grabbed the one point.
