Wigan star Bevan French is leading the way at the top of the Steve Prescott Man of Steel leaderboard after 11 rounds.

The Australian speedster is sitting top of the ladder with 15 points, closely followed by Warrington’s George Williams (14) and Hull KR half-back Jordan Abdull (12).

French picked up two points in Wigan’s 14-10 defeat at Hull last week. Hull half-back Jake Clifford claimed three points with a man of the match display, with his team-mate Darnell McIntosh getting the other point.

Meanwhile, Catalans’ new recruit Matt Ikuvalu enjoyed a dream debut as he scored a try to help the Dragons beat champions St Helens 24-12 in Perpignan. He picked up three Man of Steel points in his first game, with his team-mates Adam Keighran (2) and Mike McMeeken (1) getting the others.

It was a clean sweep for Hull KR in Round 11 after they eased past Huddersfield 28-0 at Craven Park. Ryan Hall added to his tally after earning three points in the win. Rowan Milnes (2) and James Batchelor (1) claimed the other prizes.

In Salford’s 22-12 win at Leeds, reigning Man of Steel Brodie Croft landed maximum points following an influential display. Croft’s half-back partner Marc Sneyd received two Man of Steel points, whilst Leeds centre Harry Newman grabbed the one point.

In-form prop Tom Amone received three Man of Steel points in Leigh’s 30-6 victory over Castleford. His front-rower partner Robbie Mulhern picked up one point, with Gareth O’Brien getting two.

Another team who enjoyed a clean sweep for Man of Steel points was Warrington, who defeated Wakefield 32-18 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. Josh Thewlis collected maximum points after an impressive performance in the full-back position. His team-mates Matty Ashton (2) and Paul Vaughan (1) were the other recipients of points.
