Duo Tim Lafai and Mason Lino will miss out on the opportunity to represent Combined Nations All Stars against England this week due to suspensions.

The bans have played their part in the delayed Combined Nations All Stars squad announcement.

Salford centre and Samoa international Tim Lafai received a one-match ban for a Grade B Other Contrary Behaviour following their defeat to Wigan.

Additionally, Wakefield half-back Mason Lino has received a one-match penalty notice. He was charged with a Grade B High Tackle during Trinity’s win over Warrington.

Both players had been named in Ellery Hanley’s 29-man squad earlier in April, as they face England at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday.

Shaun Wane named his England squad earlier today, with no players missing out through suspension.

The pair can both count the All Stars game towards their bans, so will be available to return to Super League action following the international break.

Meanwhile, Jake Connor has been ruled out due to injury. There are several other names set to be pulled from the clash, including Wigan’s Jai Field.

Meanwhile, St Helens forward James Bell has received a Grade A Dangerous Contact charge following the club’s 26-18 victory over Hull KR on Sunday. Team-mate Morgan Knowles received the same charge, but has not been banned. It means he will be free to represent England against Combined Nations All Stars this weekend if selected.
