There could be another Anyone But You movie on the way.

During an appearance on Tuesday's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sydney Sweeney — who plays Bea in the rom-com — admitted there's most likely going to be a sequel following the movie's box office success.

"Maybe like a high nine chance," the actress, 26, told host Fallon, 49.

"Oh really? That's what I'm talking about!" he added excitedly. "I can't wait to see it."

She continued of the film, "I'm just so thankful that everybody's loving it." She also revealed how a plan she and costar Joe Davidson had to surprise fans in movie theaters backfired.

"I was filming in Australia while this has been in theaters, and Joe, who plays Beau, he and I would sneak into theaters and surprise people," she recalled.

"Did they freak out?" Fallon asked.

"No, at first they didn't know what was going on. They were like, 'What?' Everyone was dead silent. We're standing up in the front with a microphone, we're like, 'This is not working,' " the Euphoria actress laughed.

Sweeney starred alongside Glen Powell, who played Ben, in Anyone But You, which hit theaters in December. The film’s official logline reads, “When college arch-nemeses reunite years after graduation for a destination wedding, they pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons. But through pretending, they actually fall in love.”

While the movie opened to just $6 million at the domestic box office in December, it has since gone on to gross $87 million in the U.S. and recently passed $200 million worldwide.

While speaking to Variety on the 2024 SAG Awards red carpet on Saturday, Powell, 35, said he's ready to make a follow-up film with Sweeney.

“When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing. Please send us all the scripts you got," Powell told the outlet. "You know we’re here for it."

"It’s been really wonderful to read a lot. Sydney reads everything, by the way, and in record time," he added. "She’s the fastest reader I think I’ve ever met. It takes me a little longer, but we’re reading everything and just trying to see what makes sense, what we can turn into something that audiences are going to respond to.”
