Tammy Abraham nets 22nd English Championship goal for Bristol City

The Senegalese international has broken the Robins' transfer record fee

Tammy Abraham netted his 22nd English Championship goal of the season in Bristol City's 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Monday.

The Anglo-Nigeria put the visitors ahead in the first half but a second half strike from Sam Gallagher helped Nigeria's Hope Akpan's side avid defeat.

The 19-year-old, who is on loan from Chelsea has now scored 22 times in 38 games and his fourth goal since returning from treatment at the Stamford Bridge in February.

The away draw moves Lee Johnson's side to 18th position on the table with 48 points - four above safety and they will face 14th placed Barnsley on April 22.
