Jake Taylor believes his time on loan at Exeter has helped him mature both on and off the pitch.
The Reading forward, who has made 23 appearances for the npower League One club since joining the Grecians in September on an initial month-long deal, believes the spell has been beneficial for his career.
"Playing lots of games means I've really been able to get to know the game better," he told Press Association Sport.
The midfielder has scored twice for Exeter this season and thinks the change of scenery has played a big role in his development.
Taylor said: "It has made me become a lot more adaptable in the way that I've been playing football and being away from Reading is also something that has helped me a lot.
"I've never been out of where I'm from until the last six months I've been down here.
"But everyone has made me feel really welcome and it feels like home here now. All that has helped me a lot and long may it continue."
