Taylor Swift sends late night messages to Travis Kelce after 'incredible' Liverpool show

Taylor Swift, the global superstar currently in Liverpool for her much-anticipated three-night stint as part of the Eras Tour, has revealed she was "joining the party from Liverpool" as her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs team celebrated their Super Bowl win with an official ring ceremony.

Swift, who is set to perform her second gig at Anfield stadium later today, stayed up late after her first Liverpool show to join a live stream of the celebration. The action was shared by Chariah Gordon, girlfriend of Travis' teammate Mecole Hardman Jr, and Swift didn't hesitate to get involved.

She enthusiastically commented: "JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LET'S GOOOOOOOO", followed by "YESSSSSSS [heart-eyes emojis]" and "AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE." She finally signed off with: "Gotta go to sleep it's so late here love you guys." It's known that Taylor and Chariah are good friends, often seen together at games.

"Hello Liverpool, you have just gone and made me feel absolutely incredible," Swift said on the opening night. "I just want to say those things mean the world to us getting to play the show for people who would go so far above and beyond for us and welcome us to Liverpool in such a fashion," she added. "We love you so much.

"You know, while I was walking to the stage they pulled me aside and told me another thing that you'd done for us tonight. And that thing is you've broke the all time attendance record for this stadium."
