TEAM NEWS: Bale returns to partner Ronaldo and Benzema vs Barcelona in Clasico

Goal takes a look at the biggest transfer stories from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and beyond throughout the ongoing summer window

Gareth Bale returns to the starting line-up for Real Madrid to partner Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in attack against Barcelona on Sunday.

The Welsh winger has been sidelined since picking up a muscle strain in the first leg of Los Blancos' Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich in Germany, but is straight back in the team after completing three sessions ahead of the Clasico.

There are no surprises in the rest of Madrid's line-up, with Sergio Ramos and Nacho in central defence as both Pepe and Raphael Varane are still sidelined.

For his last Clasico clash as Barca boss, Luis Enrique has picked Paco Alcacer to start in place of the suspended Neymar as the Catalans seek a win that would see them draw level on points with Real at the top of the table - albeit having played one match more than their fierce rivals.

Javier Mascherano returns from injury to start on the bench as Luis Enrique opts for a 4-3-3 formation at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto in the full-back positions.

Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic join Sergio Busquets in midfield for an intriguing battle with Madrid's trio of Casemiro, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

Real Madrid XI: Navas, Carvajal, Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Kroos, Casemiro, Modric, Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen, Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Alba, Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta, Messi, Alcacer, Suarez.
