(Team formation: 4-3-3)

GK: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid) - Expert 7, Users 7.3 - He may have shipped two but there was nothing he could do about the penalty and otherwise enjoyed a solid game in between the sticks.

RB: Philipp Lahm (Bayern Munich) - Expert 7, Users 7.3 - Bayern's captain led by example against Marseille with a typically dependable display at right-back.

CB: Javier Mascherano (Barcelona) - Expert 8, Users 6 - Superb positioning and impeccable timing throughout from the Argentine helped Barca past Milan and into the semi-finals.

CB: Raphael Varane (Real Madrid) - Expert 7, Users 6.7 - The young Frenchman put in a display beyond his years, given the stakes against APOEL.

LB: Marcelo (Real Madrid) - Expert 7, Users 7 - Was only on the pitch for the opening 45 minutes but during that time he was able to have a hand in both of Real's opening goals.

RM: Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid) - Expert 7, Users 7.7 - Introduced on 54 minutes, the Argentine capped a terrific second-half display with a nonchalant but brilliant chip to seal an 8-2 aggregate victory.

CM: Raul Meireles (Chelsea) - Expert 7, Users 7.4 - Came on with 11 minutes remaining but his presence on the pitch - and the 92nd-minute goal he scored - ultimately saw Chelsea over the line.

LM: Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich) - Expert 9, Users 7.1 - Ribery was once again the man pulling all the strings for Bayern as he caused problems all night for his former club Marseille.

FW: Kaka (Real Madrid) - Expert 9, Users 8.1 - Ronaldo was impressive and scored twice, but Kaka's display was superb and his goal was right out of the top drawer.

FW: Ivica Olic (Bayern Munich) - Expert 8, Users 7.7 - The Croat scored both goals to down Marseille - not bad for a forgotten man who has spent much of the season warming the bench.

FW: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - Expert 8, Users 7.4 - The beneficiary of Marcelo's service for his first, Ronaldo went on to net a brilliant free-kick and take his tally for the season to an incredible 49.
