How to play

As a Fantasy Cricket selector, your first task is to choose 11 players to score points for you based on their batting, bowling and fielding performances during all County Championship and Royal London One Day matches from Friday, April 7, 2017 onwards.

The aim of the game is to score the highest number of points you can. You can make changes to your team throughout the competition, replacing under-performing players with those who are hitting form and who you think will score more points for your team.

You can play on your own or, better still, create a bit of friendly competition by setting up your own private league with a group of friends and colleagues.

It costs £8 to register a single Telegraph Fantasy Cricket County Challenge team – we think that’s pretty good value for money for a full summer of entertainment and a shot at up to £16,000 in prize money.

But, for even better value, choose one of our 2017 season tickets which gets you teams from as little as £2.50 each:

  • 3 teams for £15 (£5 per team - saving £9)
  • 5 teams for £20 (£4 per team - saving £20)
  • 10 teams for £25 (£2.50 per team - saving £55)
