Kevin Mirallas (Everton) – £17

Fixture: Crystal Palace (A)

Mirallas has started 2017 with a bang, having bagged himself 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 league matches. In Everton’s demolition of Manchester City on Sunday, the Belgian was played in a more advanced role alongside Romelu Lukaku. He provided an assist for his fellow countryman and also got himself on the scoresheet. Everton will be hoping to kick on now after a disappointing first half to the season and Mirallas will be a key member for the Toffees with Yannick Bolasie out through injury and Gerard Deulofeu set to leave Goodison Park on loan.

Sam Allardyce faces yet another relegation scrap with Crystal Palace. The recent defeats to Swansea and West Ham showed just how big a mess the Eagles are in. With the way Palace have been defending recently there should be chances a plenty for Mirallas to build on his rich vein of form.

Matt Phillips (West Brom) – £17

Fixture: Sunderland (H)

It’s never a bad idea to have a player in your fantasy football team who is facing Sunderland. Their squad is severely lacking in quality aside from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and striker Jermaine Defoe. They have relied heavily on these two guys to carry them this season. Since Pickford picked up an injury they’ve been conceding a lot more goals, 12 in their last 4 league games alone.

Tony Pulis is renowned for his defensive stability but West Brom have thrown off the shackles this season and are a much more attacking force than in previous seasons. A lot of this is down to the form of Summer signing Matt Phillips, and he’s already managed 4 goals and 9 assists in the league. His pace and trickery is a nightmare for defenders and he should have plenty of opportunities against a porous Sunderland defence.

Adam Smith (Bournemouth) – £14

Fixture: Watford (H)

Charlie Daniels has been the most consistent points scorer in the Bournemouth defence this season but Adam Smith is one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks. Now that Nathan Ake has returned to parent club Chelsea, Smith will be back in the team at right back. He’s a marauding full back who gets forward at every opportunity and delivers excellent service for his teammates. Eddie Howe has used him on the ride side of midfield on occasion this season which shows his confidence in Smith’s attacking capabilities. Smith is usually in the mix when it comes to set pieces around the edge of the opposition’s box. The Cherries will be confident of a clean sheet against a Watford side who have scored just 2 goals in their last 6 league outings.
