The Brookside sponsored side were thrashed 3-0 by Bandari last weekend at Mbaraki Stadium, and a positive response is vital this weekend. Nandwa says the league is tough and his boys have to be strong.
"We lost last weekend, AFC Leopards won and we have to win this weekend to ensure we remain in a good position in the league. It is very competitive and tough, we cannot afford to slip down, we have to give our best and ensure we go home smiling, although I know it will be tough.
"The training has been intense this week, our main objective was to try and rectify the mistakes we made against Bandari," he told Goal.
Thika United are eleventh placed on six points, four less than fifth placed AFC Leopards.
