I told Real Madrid to sign two players in summer transfer window but they both joined Chelsea
Chelsea will now have two players in their squad that Real Madrid were strongly advised to sign in recent years.
The Blues completed 13 new signings this summer which culminated with a busy transfer deadline day. Chelsea managed to agree a deal to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on an initial loan move with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.
Sancho's arrival has yet to be confirmed with the deal being completed after the 11pm deadline on Friday. The former Borussia Dortmund star was not the only new arrival for Chelsea this summer, with 12 other players being signed by the Blues.
Another new signing was Joao Felix, who completed a permanent move to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid.
The forward returns to Stamford Bridge 18 months after his brief loan spell with the club in 2023, and scored on his second debut in last week's 6-2 win over Wolves.
Both Sancho and Felix have been tipped to be some of Europe's brightest talents since their youth team days at their respective former clubs. And it seems that Real Madrid were advised to duo the dup in the past by one of their club legends.

Guti, who previously worked as a youth team coach at Real Madrid, has explained how he advised the La Liga giants to sign Felix and Sancho after watching them in action in the UEFA Youth League.
"I saw him [Felix] in the Youth League and this kid was valuable, it was ridiculous how he played against the others," Guti told El Chiringuito earlier this month. "He passed everyone. This kid had to be signed. I told Real Madrid that.
"I was coaching Real Madrid’s youth teams in the Youth League and were in the semi-finals against Joao Felix. He scored three goals. But I didn’t even need to tell Real Madrid, the club followed this type of player.
"In the end, you pass on information and the club does what it wants with it. I saw players like him, like [Jadon] Sancho from Dortmund, in the Youth League, about whom I also said ‘This player is worth signing’."
