Toni Kroos Takes to Twitter to Thank Bayern Munich Fans Who Made it Such a Special Night for His Son

​Toni Kroos has taken to Twitter to thank Bayern Munich fans who cheered and applauded when his son scored a goal at the Santiago Bernabeu after Real Madrid and Bayern's Champions League quarter final clash on Tuesday.


Bayern lost 4-2 on the night, losing 6-3 on aggregate over two legs. Kroos joined Real from Bayern for around £25m in 2014, and has gone on to make 139 appearances for Zinedine Zidane's side.


.In his time at Bayern, Kroos won the Bundesliga three times, the German Cup three times, the Champions League once, the European Super Cup once, and the Club World Cup once. 


He also scored 25 goals in 205 appearances during his time at the Allianz Arena, and came up through the youth ranks at Bayern.

Kroos has also been capped 76 times for Germany, scoring 12 goals in the process, and won the World Cup in 2014
