York 'agree deal' for Fagan-Walcott
York City have reportedly struck a deal with Cardiff to secure the permanent signing of Malachi Fagan-Walcott.
The centre-back, 22, has been a standout performer during his loan spell at York in the National League, making 12 appearances and scoring one goal.

His goal came in a dramatic 2-1 victory over FC Halifax Town, where he netted the equaliser in stoppage time. He also provided an assist in Saturday's 4-0 win over Yeovil Town.
Reports from Football Insider of the permanent deal emerged after the Minstermen's co-chairman Matt Uggla teased the news on social media. Fagan-Walcott, who has Champions League experience from his time at Tottenham Hotspur, joined Cardiff in 2023 following a loan spell at Dundee.
He impressed in pre-season and made his Bluebirds first-team debut under Erol Bulut at the beginning of the campaign, coming off the bench against Burnley in the Championship and playing in two Carabao Cup games.
With the likes of Dimitrios Goutas, Calum Chambers, Jesper Daland and Will Fish in front of him, York managed to secure his services on loan in September, beating off interest from Football League and Scottish clubs.

KV Kortrijk boss linked with Iceland job
A manager once linked with the vacant Cardiff City job is now being considered for a national team role.
Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad report the head coach of Kortrijk, Freyr Alexandersson, is being considered as a potential successor to Age Hareide, who resigned as the head coach of the Icelandic national team following a disappointing Nations League and defeat by Wales.
Alexandersson is reportedly one of the candidates being considered to replace him. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.
The Icelandic FA is familiar with Alexandersson, who has previously worked as an assistant for the men’s senior team and as the head coach of the women’s team. Recently, Alexandersson was linked with a vacancy at Cardiff, Kortrijk's sister club, but the move did not materialise, with Omer Riza continuing to take interim charge.
Alexandersson has been prominent in the development of Cardiff players, having coached Isaak Davies, Sheyi Ojo, Ryotaro Tsunoda and Roko Simic over the last year. Kortrijk, currently in the bottom four of the Belgian Pro League, suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Westerlo this past weekend.
Perry Ng drops hint
Perry Ng has hinted he may soon be eligible to represent Singapore after years of attempting to qualify for the country.
Ng first expressed his desire to represent the country of his grandfather's birth back in 2017, however only in September did he train with the national team for the first time in what the Singapore FA called a "familiarisation stint".
The problem regarding Ng's eligibility pertains to the nation's law against dual citizenship, meaning he would eventually be required to give up his British passport. However as both Ng and the Singapore FA work through those barriers, Ng suggested he might make his debut sooner rather than later.
Speaking on Instagram after Singapore's recent international window — which saw them beat Myanmar 3-2 before losing by the same scoreline to Chinese Taipei — Ng said: "Hello Singapore! Intense two games, wish I could have been there to watch in person.
"Congrats to Irfan (Najeeb) Naqi (Naqiuddin Eunos) and Farhan (Zulkifli) on their first international goals for Singapore. Also a massive congratulations to Kyoga (Kyoga Nakamura) on his first two caps.
"Hopefully I can follow in his footsteps soon, congratulations, mate, and I'll see you all in the next FIFA international window."
The next FIFA international window takes place between March 17 and 25.
