Evans quizzed on future after talks with Riza
Kieron Evans has been asked about his future, with the winger, who is on loan at Newport County, having spoken with new Cardiff manager Omer Riza.
Evans signed a new one-year deal ahead of the season but was then allowed to go on loan to the League Two side. With his contract in the Welsh capital running out at the end of the current campaign, Evans said he still doesn't know what will happen beyond next summer.

"I signed a new deal at Cardiff at the start of the season. I've got to be respectful of Cardiff," he said.
"All I'm focussing now is playing as many games as I can for Newport, and we'll see what happens at the end of the season."
He added: "I've spoken to Omer, he's been in contact a few times. I had a good relationship with him anyway when I was at Cardiff. It's nice to hear him asking me how I'm doing and stuff like that.
"He's a good bloke, keeping an eye on me to see how I'm doing."
The 22-year-old, who can play on either wing or in the No.10 position, has 12 Cardiff appearances to his name. Whether he will add to his tally with Riza now at the helm remains to be seen. He has one goal and three assists for the Exiles this term. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.
Bulut: Isaak Davies is 'very talented'
Erol Bulut has spoken of his pride for the work he did in trying to progress youngsters while at Cardiff and rued the missed opportunity of not working with Isaak Davies while in charge.
Davies was one of 16 players sent out on loan last term and impressed with KV Kortrijk, scoring 12 goals in 36 appearances for the Belgian club.
He looked likely to play a big part for Cardiff under Bulut this season before suffering a horror hamstring injury in the final game of the pre-season tour of Salzburg. He is yet to play this term after undergoing surgery to rectify the problem and is likely to return in a month's time.
Bulut gave the likes of Cian Ashford, Luey Giles, Raheem Conte, Joel Colwill and Michael Reindorf some game time before he was sacked and wanted to highlight his involvement in trying to help nurture the younger talent at Cardiff.
Speaking on beIN SPORT, in quotes translated by Turkish social media account @EROLBULUTÇUYUZ, he said: "What I’d like to highlight about the academy is that, in the club's 125-year history, I’m the first manager to bring players up from the academy and send them out on loan. Last year, I sent 16 players out on loan.
"This year, we brought two or three of them back, integrated them into the first team, and they delivered excellent performances. However, one of them got injured at the start of the season. We had loaned him to Kortrijk last year, where he played as a forward and scored 12 goals. Unfortunately, he got injured during pre-season. He’s a very talented forward (Isaak Davies).
"This season as well, I gave some of my players the opportunity to play in cup matches and league games, helping them get noticed. Now, they occasionally come on as substitutes in the second half. In a few years, they might bring significant value to the club."

Holders Cardiff knocked out of cup
Genero Adran trophy holders Cardiff City Women were knocked out at the quarter-final stage after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of TNS yesterday.
The Bluebirds, last year's treble winners, were down to 10 players after Mikayla Cook was given her marching orders following a stamp on Caitlin Chapman.
And TNS capitalised on their one-player advantage when Chapman intercepted a poor pass back to the goalkeeper on 26 minutes, before squaring it to Olivia Buckland, who scored the only goal of a fiercely-fought tie.
It is the first time TNS have ever beaten the Bluebirds and, in doing so, have progressed through to the last four of the competition.
Head coach Iain Darbyshire said: "I'm so proud of the players. To play around 75 minutes with ten players with the attitude and application that they showed, I can't be more proud of them. They ran so hard and stuck together, but we just couldn't quite find a goal to take it through to penalties.
"To play like that with ten players shows how good we can be and there are a lot of positives to take. We regrouped and it's something we can learn from. We got into a good shape and still caused them problems. It shows how good our squad is and how much they care.
"We were playing against difficult opposition today. Like I said before the game, they have had a good season and have got some impressive results. Credit to them, but for us, it's about bouncing back now."
