France international Cameron Woki has made a sensational switch to Racing 92, while the Parisians have also signed exciting rugby league player Regan Grace.

Woki, who can play at either lock or back-row, moved to Bordeaux-Begles in 2017 and earned a national team call-up in 2020 following a string of outstanding performances at the club.

Disillusioned

However, he has become disillusioned this season, despite performing well on the field, with feisty head coach Christophe Urios rumoured to be the reason for his frustrations.

The 23-year-old was still contracted at UBB for the 2022/23 campaign, but will not see out the remainder of his deal and Woki has instead agreed to join Racing.

“Racing are pleased to announce his signing for the next four seasons. The back row joins from July 5 as an additional player,” The Parisians said in a statement.

“The club welcomes the arrival of this international player from the Ile-de-France region, who will continue to highlight the fertile ground of the Paris basin for French rugby.”

Meanwhile, another interesting signing comes in the form of rugby league star Regan Grace, who will leave St Helens at the end of his contract.

Grace, who is 25, has starred in the 13-man code over the past few seasons and his searing speed and footwork could be a huge asset for Racing next year.

Every happiness and success

“Regan has been an exciting and important contributor to the major successes of the Saints in recent years,” St Helens chairman Eamonn McManus said.

“We clearly very much wanted him to stay at the Saints and in Super League in the years ahead.

“However, we fully accept and respect his decision to pursue a new career, life and lifestyle in France and wish him and his family every happiness and success.”
