But (and this is important), they sound exactly the same as their predecessor, so if you don’t need the smart features, the lookalike WH-1000XM3 are a genuine bargain. They both share the same battery life too, around 30 hours playtime.

Of course, if you want to wrap your head in the latest tech, the Sony WH-1000XM4 also come highly recommended.
