Lee has been in excellent form in LaLiga this term and has attracted the interest of several European clubs. So, bringing him in would be a major coup for Tottenham.

Indeed, as noted by TEAMtalk, Atletico Madrid are also interested in signing the Real Mallorca star. However, he may find a move to the Premier League difficult to resist.

Lee has made 31 league appearances for Los Piratas this season, scoring six goals and making five assists in the process. At the age of 22, his potential is sky-high and has already proven he can be dangerous going forward.

Last year, Lee was part of South Korea’s World Cup squad, playing alongside Son regularly. Now, it seems he could get the opportunity to do so again at Tottenham.

Spurs tipped to battle Atletico for Lee

According to Spanish outlet AS, as cited by Sport WitnessTottenham are ready to battle Atletico Madrid for Lee this summer.

Spurs have endured a disappointing season – currently sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table. As a result, they look unlikely to be playing in the Champions League next season.

They are also on the hunt for a new manager. Julian Nagelsmann remains the big favourite to take the helm next season, but Xabi Alonso and Vincent Kompany remain on Tottenham’s radar.

Nevertheless, Levy continues to look for potential transfer targets, with Lee thought to be one of the players he is considering.

A versatile player, the South Korean has the ability to play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger. With that in mind, he could provide cover in multiple areas for Spurs next season.

Real Mallorca won’t let Lee go easily, though. Indeed, Indeed, according to Transfermarkt, the he has a valuation of approximately £15m.

However, with Tottenham and Atletico Madrid in the race for his signature, it’s likely his ultimate price tag will be higher than that amount.
