Radu Dragusin will not be leaving Tottenham in January, his agent has confirmed. However, he warned that another decision will have to be made in the summer if the defender is not playing.

The 22-year-old has impressed in parts this season, but has also had some high-profile mistakes, including a red card against Qarabag in his first Europa League game of the campaign. With the centre-back already struggling for minutes, it was yet another blow for the Romanian.

Dragusin has started all three of his appearances in the Europa League this season, but has been unable to displace either of Micky van de Ven or Cristian Romero since his arrival in January, with minutes hard to come by when both are fit; Dragusin has started three Premier League games this season, all of which came when Van de Ven was out through injury.

With few minutes racked up since his arrival nearly a year ago, links have been forming with a move away; Juventus and Napoli have both been rumoured to be interested in a move in the upcoming window.

However, Dragusin's agent says that no move will be taking place in the January transfer window. But he did warn that if there was not an improvement in playing time before the end of the season, they may have to make another decision for the summer.

"It's an honour for Radu to be wanted by teams like Napoli and Juve, but at the moment they are just rumours," Manea told Telecapri. "We are focused on Tottenham, he still has five years on his contract.

"It’s not easy to go to a top club and make an impact right away, he’s still 22-years-old. If he does not play this year, it's normal that other evaluations will be made.

"He won't move in January, in June we'll evaluate him."
