Tottenham have been handed a major injury boost with Manor Solomon pictured on the grass and training during the off-season.

Solomon, 24, joined Spurs on a free transfer last summer after an impressive season-long loan spell at Fulham. He had started the 2023/24 campaign in and out of the side under Ange Postecoglou, starting two of their opening seven matches and grabbing two assists in the process.

However, the Israel international suffered a meniscus problem in his right knee during training in October, which forced him to undergo surgery. It was initially suggested that Solomon would be out between three to four months, but Postecoglou confirmed in February that he has sustained a setback in his recovery.

Ahead of Tottenham facing Crystal Palace in March, Postecoglou then delivered a further update and admitted that he "still has a bit of a way to go" to even return to team training. Later that month, Solomon posted a heartfelt message on social media to address supporters on his situation.

"Hi everyone, Lately I’ve been away from social media and focusing solely on my rehab and getting back on the field," Solomon said. "The last period has been the most difficult and frustrating in my career.

"In the past 5 months I’ve been working as hard as possible to get back to doing what I love the most, but unfortunately, I haven’t fully recovered yet. At the same time, I’m full of motivation and will continue to do everything in order to be back stronger than ever to help my club & country. Thank you for your support,
see you guys soon."

Now, Solomon has been spotted training as he eyes a return to action with Tottenham at the start of next season. The former Shakhtar Donetsk winger posted a video on his Instagram story showing him dribbling beyond a mannequin and shooting into an empty small goal.

Having been out for such a sustained period of time, Solomon looked sharp and his reintroduction to the Tottenham squad would no doubt be a massive boost going into the 2024/25 campaign. At times, Solomon was influential at the start of the season and adds something different to the Spurs side.
