Brentford midfielder Vitaly Janelt has praised Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-Min.

The Spurs forward is enjoying one of his best seasons to date in the Premier League. He is a leading contender to win the league’s Player of the Year award.

Liverpool plan trophy parade with JUST three trophies – but Klopp won’t forget Kane injustice

Son has grabbed 21 goals and seven assists from his 34 appearances in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte has been their manager since last November. He and Son have been integral over the past few months.

Heading into the final game of the 2021/22 season, Tottenham are the favourites to finish fourth ahead of Arsenal. A draw against Norwich City on the final day would clinch them Champions League football.

Son got on the scoresheet as Spurs beat Brentford 2-0 earlier this season. The Bees have enjoyed a great season as they sit eleventh in the table.

Janelt has named Son as his toughest opponent this season, as the Tottenham man is the “complete player”:

“I think very highly of Tottenham’s Heung-min Son,” Janelt told SportBuzzer.

“The way he combines with Harry Kane is brutal.

“He has an incredible drive, is technically strong, one-on-one and on crosses, can shoot with his right and left foot. For me, he is the complete player.”

Elsewhere, according to reports, Tottenham are one of three clubs interested in signing ex-Man Utd star Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer from Roma, according to reports.

The Armenia international has previously had spells in the Premier League with Manchester United and Arsenal.

During his time at United, he worked with Jose Mourinho. Together they won the Europa League and EFL Cup.

Mkhitaryan has played 119 times for Roma since the start of the 2019/20 campaign. He has been a key player for Mourinho this term, playing 43 times across all competitions. He has grabbed five goals and nine assists.

The 33-year-old’s future is in doubt though as his contract is set to expire this summer.

Alfredo Pedulla (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Mourinho is keen to keep Mkhitaryan at Roma, but he must ‘beware of surprises’.

It is stated that Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan and Napoli all ‘like’ the midfielder, who has been offered a new two-year deal by Roma.
