Tottenham’s upturn under Antonio Conte continued with a dominant 3-0 win over 10-man Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.

The game turned on its head inside five first-half minutes, with Spurs twice scoring through Harry Kane and Lucas Moura before Wilfried Zaha was sent off for a second booking.

Heung-min Son added a third after the break to leave Spurs unbeaten in six League matches under the Italian.

Dan Kilpatrick was at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to rate the Spurs players...

Hugo Lloris 7

Commanded his area well on his 35th birthday, bravely claiming a number of crosses. Did not have a save of note to make.

Davinson Sanchez 7

Booked for a clumsy challenge on Jordan Ayew but otherwise unflustered in another impressive display.

Eric Dier 7

Commanding at the centre of the back three and used the ball well. Should be said that the entire back line was barely tested by Palace, who failed to register a meaningful effort on target.

Japhet Tanganga 6

Initially looked uncomfortable on the left of the back three but grew into the game and dealt with Conor Gallagher’s forays down the right.

Emerson Royal 8

Influential in the first two goals, releasing Lucas with a fine pass for the first and crossing for his compatriot for the second. Kept left-back Tyrick Mitchell occupied throughout.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 7

Tidied up well at the base of midfield and switched the play nicely on a couple of occasions.

Oliver Skipp 8

Another all-action display in the middle of the park. Looked to drive Spurs forward when he had the ball and typically robust out of possession. Passed to Lucas in the build-up to the third goal.

Sergio Reguilon 8

Got forward well and put in some dangerous crosses, including one which Lucas should have converted at 0-0. His final ball could still improve but he is adapting well to being a wing-back.

Lucas Moura 9

Made the goals for Kane and Son, and scored the second himself with a brave header. So often frustrating in the past but, under Conte, he is beginning to look like a real match-winner.

Heung-min Son 8

Finished Lucas’ cross to continue his hot streak. Tested Jack Butland with an early effort but quiet before scoring.

Harry Kane 8

Opened the scoring with a sweeping, first-time finish in a strong showing. Now scored in consecutive League games and will be looking to kick on in the New Year.

Subs

Steven Bergwijn (Kane 63’) 7

Underlined his renewed confidence with a drive and low shot at Butland. Deputised up front for the final 30 minutes.

Bryan Gil (Son 75’) 6

Made his first League appearance under Conte and was involved in a good late chance for Lucas.

Tanguy Ndombele (Hojbjerg 78’) 6

A couple of nice passes from the base of midfield. Will hope for a start soon.
