Tottenham eased to a 4-0 home win against Ludogorets on Thursday night to boost their hopes of reaching the Europa League knockout stages.

Tottenham player ratings

Joe Hart 6

As vocal as ever between the sticks but had nothing to do except shout.

Matt Doherty 7

Started rustily after a week in quarantine and squandered a great crossing position. Looked better in the second half and nearly set up Vinicius for a hat-trick with a neat header.

Davinson Sanchez 6

Looked more assured than in recent weeks and stood up to his man on the rare occasions that Ludogorets ventured forward.

Japhet Tanganga 7

Looked determined to prove he can play centre-half after Mourinho said yesterday he sees the youngster as a full-back. Won a string of towering headers and mopped up well. Good to see him back.

Ben Davies 6

The captain for the evening was untested defensively and hit the first man from his one good crossing position.

Harry Winks 7

Surely did not mean a 50-yard wonder-strike – but they all count. In fairness, he definitely meant a 30-yard effort in the first effort which flew wide. Tried to be positive and move the ball forward in possession.

Tanguy Ndombele 8

Ran the show with his usual array of tricks, feints and dribbles. Played a big part in Vinicius’ second goal with a fine run and shot. Unsurprisingly hooked after an hour to save him for Chelsea.

Dele Alli 8

Potentially a turning point for the England midfield, who finished with two assists for Vinicius and played a key part in Lucas’ goal. Grew in confidence as the match went on.

Lucas Moura 7

Feels somehow tailor-made for these nights. Scampered around endlessly and got his goal with a cool finish.

Gareth Bale 6

Looked sharp, pressed well, was unselfish and flashes of the old brilliance. But still feel he has several more gears to go.

Vinicius 8

Opened his Spurs account with a well-taken finish and added a close-range second before half-time. Hold up play also impressed, too, and got the assist for Lucas. Perfect for these games to give Kane a rest.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Ndombele 61’) 7

Added a bit more bite and increased the tempo after replacing Ndombele.

Jack Clarke (Bale 68’) 7

Lively cameo from the young winger.

Alfie Whiteman (Hart 81’) 6

Came and claimed a corner on his professional debut.

Harvey White (Dele 81’) 6

Nearly scored with practically his first touch with a rasping left foot drive.

Dane Scarlett (Lucas 81’) 6

Had a golden opportunity to score within seconds from Winks’ pass but effort saved.

Austin, Whiteman, Aurier, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Kane, Son, Clarke, White, Scarlett
