Danny Rose and Paulo Gazzaniga will leave Tottenham this summer following the conclusion of their contracts.

Both players’ deals are due to expire at the end of June and Spurs announced on Thursday they will not be renewed.

Rose’s departure brings an end to a difficult season for the left-back, who has not made a single appearance for Tottenham. The 30-year-old was not registered for Spurs’ Europa League or Premier League squads and he was also not allocated a squad number.

The left-back last played for Spurs in a 3-1 loss at Bayern in the Champions League in December 2019, before spending the remainder of the season on loan at Newcastle.

Goalkeeper Gazzaniga, meanwhile, has spent the second half of the season on loan at Spanish side Elche.

Tottenham also confirmed on Thursday the departures of development squad players Enock Asante, Chay Cooper, Keenan Ferguson, George Marsh, Rodel Richards, Jack Roles, Aaron Skinner, Kazaiah Sterling and Shilow Tracey following the conclusion of their contracts.

Under-18s players Eddie Carrington and Tarrelle Whittaker have also departed following the conclusion of their scholarships.
