Tottenham star wants to terminate contract after brutal Ange Postecoglou snub
Sergio Reguilon is hoping to terminate his Tottenham contract, according to reports. The Spaniard has failed to make a single appearance for Spurs this season after failing to secure a move out of the club next summer.
Ange Postecoglou was keen to ship out the £120,000-per-week defender after spending last season on loan at Manchester United and Brentford. He spent the first half of the campaign at Old Trafford, making 12 appearances, before making the switch to west London for the second part of the season.
But following his return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer, Reguilon has been left in the wildness and out-of-favour under Postecoglou. In fact, Reguilon has been named in the matchday squad just once this season - against Coventry in the Carabao Cup - but remained as an unused substitute.

Now, according to The Sunday Mirror, it has been reported that Reguilon is ready to rip up his Tottenham contract and find a new club. The 27-year-old's current deal runs out at the end of the season but he is keen to leave before then in search of regular game time, having not pulled on a Spurs shirt since April 2022.
Clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are monitoring his situation and are keen to sign him, despite the fact Reguilon has not played a competitive game of football in six months. Reguilon last played for Brentford against Newcastle on the final day of last season, capping off an impressive loan spell at the Bees.
Reguilon travelled with the rest of his Tottenham teammates to Ferencvaros last month, but wasn't named as part of the matchday contingent after being left out of their Europa League squad.
Explaining why Reguilon travelled to Hungary, Postecoglou said: "Sergio [Reguilon] is a Tottenham player, that’s why he’s here. We like to have 20 players for training, we’ve also brought some young players. They had a game last night and we didn’t want to disrupt them too much."
