After convincing Antonio Conte to stay at the club, Tottenham have been one of the busier teams this summer.

Yves Bissouma has passed his medical as the Brighton midfielder closes in on a £25m move to Spurs, following both Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster through the door in north London.

Such is Conte’s desire to improve, however, Spurs are unlikely to stop there.

During what has been a busy summer for the club already, here’s the latest Tottenham transfer news and rumours.

Yves Bissouma unlikely to be the last through the door

Standard Sport understands Conte wants as many as four more signing once the Bissouma deal is wrapped up.

Djed Spence is a leading target for the club, although Spurs face quite a bit of competition on that front from the likes of Borussia Dortmund and AS Roma.

Still, with Spurs in the Champions League and boasting one of the game’s leading managers, another offer is going to have to be quite something if Spence is to go elsewhere.

Christian Eriksen

talkSPORT claim Spurs are confident of winning the race to sign Christian Eriksen.

While Brentford have not given up hope of keeping the Danish midfielder, Spurs and Manchester United offer interesting alternatives to a player who has talked of his desire to return to the Champions League.

A former Spurs player of course, it is claimed that remaining in London is an attractive proposition to Eriksen, reportedly making Spurs the favourites to win the race to sign one of the most in-demand free agents out there.

Marc Guehi

Following his successful first season at Crystal Palace, Marc Guehi has been touted as a target for Spurs.

The former Chelsea defender is making a late push to be included in England’s World Cup squad and such form has seen him tipped for a move to north London, as Conte looks to bolster his options in central defence.

Still, Sky journalist Michael Bridge told GIVEMESPORT Palace could be chasing big money for the 21-year-old.

“I think Crystal Palace would want huge, huge money, and maybe they’d [Tottenham] want to watch him again for another season, but I really like him,” he said.

“I’ve spoken so many times about how good I think Palace’s recruitment was last season, and him and Gallagher were the main reasons for that. He’s a really good defender.”
