Tottenham vs Arsenal £750 ticket shock as North London Derby prices skyrocket
Arsenal fans still hoping to buy tickets for the North London Derby this weekend will have to stump up huge sums of money after resalers online have listed the final ones available. It comes ahead of the first meeting with fierce rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
The Gunners travel the short distance across North London in the hope of winning a second consecutive away match against their neighbours. Those that haven't already got tickets for the game will be left with a hefty price to pay, though.
Some online resalers are offering late access tickets for a minimum of nearly £750. To sit in the away section could cost up to almost £1,100 too, with several sites pumping up the asking price even more.
On initial sale, available to season ticket holders and then members, Premier League away tickets are capped at just £30. That is a league-wide regulation, however, ticket touts and resalers take the chance to make a quick penny via matches, especially ones as high profile as this.
Arsenal themselves have attempted to crack down on non-active members and possible touts. The club announced that they cancelled 24 season tickets last season in a bid to keep the Emirates Stadium full.
The revival and improvement in matchday atmosphere has been a theme alongside Mikel Arteta's rise on the pitch. Alongside the demand to watch London's best-performing team for the past two years, Arsenal have raised the bar for usage.

Up from 17 matches in 2023/24, supporters will now have to attend at least 20 games this season in order for their season ticket not to be taken away. The club also banned over 20,000 members linked with touting and obtaining tickets in unauthorised ways. 54 season ticket holders were punished in the same movement.
Unlike some teams, which favour a loyalty points system, Arsenal use a ballot to allocate tickets to members. There is no Premier League regulation over home ticket pricing or season ticket pricing.
