Tottenham Hotspur (4-4-2)

Hugo Lloris - 6/10

Never had a chance of reaching Lacazette’s rising finish. Sprung to his left to keep out Aubameyang’s curling strike late in the second half.

Serge Aurier - 5/10

Poor touch allowed Lacazette the space to score the opener, and he was caught on the ball again a few minutes later. Sloppy in possession.

Davinson Sanchez - 6/10

Helped to keep Aubameyang quiet, using his pace well against the Arsenal captain. Took few risks in possession, with Tottenham looking to counter.

Toby Alderweireld - 7/10

Did well to track Lacazette and clear a dangerous Tierney cross in the opening minutes. Showed his strength in the air to head Tottenham’s winner.

Ben Davies - 6/10

Thumped the crossbar from distance with an uncharacteristic strike. Booked for pushing Pepe from behind and largely held his position at the back.

Moussa Sissoko - 7/10

Shuttled with his usual energy down the right, working hard to reduce the space for Tierney and Aubameyang. Carries the ball so effectively.

Harry Winks - 6/10

More defensive than constructive as Arsenal dominated possession and territory in the second half. Booked for repeated niggly fouls in midfield.

Giovani Lo Celso - 7/10

Shown a yellow card for a bizarre, off-the-ball push on Ceballos. The most progressive of the Tottenham midfielders with the ball, showing enthusiasm and creativity at times.

Lucas Moura - 7/10

Fierce strike tested Martinez after just 20 seconds and he played two terrific passes in behind for Kane. Battling spirit will have impressed his manager.

Harry Kane - 6/10

Will feel he should have scored when trying to lob Martinez early on. Denied again in the second half, when he was twice unable to find the corner.

Son Heung-min - 7/10

Breezed past Luiz for the equaliser and finished with composure for his 17th of the season. Produced a fine delivery for Alderweireld’s winner.

Arsenal (3-4-3)

Emiliano Martinez - 7/10

Exceptional in the first half, saving from Lucas, Kane and Davies. Could do nothing about Son’s dinked finish or Alderweireld’s header.

Shkodran Mustafi - 5/10

Has been much improved in recent weeks but the old errors crept in once again, especially in a ragged second-half performance. Looked rattled by the end.

David Luiz - 6/10

Wrong-footed by Kolasinac’s pass for the opener and was never going to compete with Son for pace. Does not exude authority in these big games.

Sead Kolasinac - 4/10

His wayward pass to Luiz, leading to the Son goal, was a dreadful error given the timing of the score. A pivotal moment in the match.

Hector Bellerin - 6/10

Searing pace down the right created an early opportunity for Aubameyang, and he attacked well. Struggled to contain the threat of Lucas at times.

Dani Ceballos - 7/10

Arguably Arsenal’s best player at the moment. Influential in midfield, twisting past challenges and moving the ball sharply, but faded as Tottenham took charge.

Granit Xhaka - 6/10

Crunching tackle created Lacazette’s goal. Has forged an effective relationship with Ceballos although Arsenal surrendered control in the final 20 minutes.

Kieran Tierney - 6/10

Provides plenty of width and energy on the left flank, but his delivery was not as precise on this occasion. Found Sissoko to be a tough opponent.

Nicolas Pepe - 5/10

Started sluggishly but grew into the game, curling wide and testing Lloris with a powerful effort. Replaced by Saka after receiving a yellow card.

Alexandre Lacazette - 6/10

A truly sensational strike for his goal. Frenchman is rediscovering his form after a patchy season. Looked increasingly tired in the second half, though.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 6/10

Unable to finish from Bellerin’s cross, then went close with a long-range free kick. Cracked the woodwork with a stinging strike after the break.
