Tottenham vs West Ham live score: EFL Cup goal updates at Wembley

Tottenham and West Ham face off in the EFL Cup tonight in the midst of two contrasting seasons.

Spurs are flying high after a 4-1 win over Liverpool while Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is again facing speculation over his future after a 3-0 home loss to newly promoted Brighton.

Standard Sport understands Bilic has matches against London rivals Spurs and Crystal Palace, on Saturday, before his future will be assessed, and will make significant changes at Wembley with the Premier League a priority.

Mauricio Pochettino: "Our objective is to try to win the Premier League and the Champions League. For me, two real trophies. That can really change your life. And then the FA Cup, of course, I would like to win.

"I would like to win the Carabao Cup. But I think it will not change the life of Tottenham. If you want to be a big team and if you want to fight for big things, it's impossible if you don't use all the squad and rotate in England."

Slaven Bilic: "I am never, never, never walking away... It is my job and a job I like to do especially in a place that I feel, after my hometown, is like few other places, you are treated special.

"That's my biggest strength, to be strong in hard times. Now I'm having a hard time, yes I am. That doesn't scare me."
