Tottenham XI vs Everton: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for Premier League today
Jose Mourinho's biggest decision is in central midfield as Tottenham today welcome Everton in the first round of the new Premier League season.
Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks and Giovani Lo Celso are all competing for a spot alongside summer signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the double-pivot, with Winks getting the nod.
It's a big call from Mourinho, with Winks having missed Spurs last two friendlies and England's Nations League fixtures. Lo Celso does not make the squad due to a hamstring problem.
As well as Hojbjerg, Matt Doherty is given a debut at right-back ahead of Serge Aurier but Japhet Tanganga is out, as he will be for several weeks, with a thigh strain.
Joe Hart, another new signing, takes his place on the bench ahead of Paulo Gazzaniga.
In attack, Harry Kane starts despite not featuring in any of the club's friendlies after being forced into quarantine. Lucas Moura gets the call ahead of Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela.
