Toulouse fall at Perpignan

Top 14 leaders Toulouse suffered an inopportune 25-10 defeat to Perpignan at the Stade Aime Giral.

Wales international James Hook scored 20 points with his boot in a consummate display for the Pyrenean club which lifts them up to ninth ahead of the weekend's other matches.

Toulouse now face an anxious wait to see if Clermont can record a bonus-point win at home to Stade Francais on Saturday which would send the Heineken Cup semi-finalists top of the table with just three rounds of the championship remaining.

Argentine second-row Patricio Albacete's converted try put Toulouse into a 7-3 lead at half-time, but after the break Lionel Beauxis's sole penalty was the only addition to the score.

Hook kicked 15 points after the break to take the game away from the visitors before he converted Joffrey Michel's try with the last kick of the game.
