Liverpool are set to offer a player-plus-cash deal to land an Inter Milan midfielder, while Arsenal are said to be considering a move for Raheem Sterling…

KEITA OFFERED TO INTER IN BROZOVIC DEAL
Liverpool know they need a solution to the gaping void in their midfield. And with less than a fortnight remaining in the transfer window, the Reds are ready to get creative.

Apparently, Jurgen Klopp is keen to bring Marcelo Brozovic to Anfield from Inter Milan. And Calciomercato reckons he’s prepared to offer the Italians one of his midfield strugglers in part-exchange.

To tempt the Italians, Liverpool will send Naby Keita to the San Siro with his pockets stuffed with euros. Keita’s contract at Anfield expires in the summer, so the Reds would have to make up the difference in Brozovic’s £30million valuation in cold hard cash.

Liverpool aren’t the only club keen on the Croatia star. Barcelona are also interested, with the Catalans willing to offer ex-AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie as part of a swap deal.

CHELSEA LEARN CAICEDO PRICE
Liverpool are one of the clubs sniffing around Moises Caicedo, but Chelsea are said to be most intent on signing the midfielder from Brighton this month.

If the Blues are to win the race for the Ecuador star, they will have to find at least £75million. That’s the price set by Brighton, according to CBS Sports.

Chelsea aren’t far off the Seagulls’ valuation. It is claimed their opening offer in recent weeks was around the £65million mark.

ARSENAL INTRIGUED BY STERLING PROSPECT
To fund their recent splurge, Chelsea are going to have to shift some of their current squad. Newcastle might help by taking a job lot, while it has been claimed that Raheem Sterling has been made available.

Conveniently, Arsenal are looking for an attacker after the Blues pinched Mykhaylo Mudryk from underneath the Gunners’ noses. Fichajes says Mikel Arteta is interested in renewing his interest in the England winger, who opted for Stamford Bridge when he left Manchester City in the summer.

It’s a speculative punt, one suggesting Arsenal ‘could’ move for Sterling. Which if they do, would surely be late in the window, especially since Chelsea will want to recoup as much as possible of the £47million they paid City. Sterling still has four and a half years of his contract remaining at Stamford Bridge.
