Transfer gossip: Man Utd to pay £105m for France striker as Arsenal eye Hazard
Manchester United are said to be willing to pay over £100million for a striker who moved for free last summer, while Arsenal reckon Eden Hazard isn’t a lost cause after all…
MAN UTD EYE FRANCE FORWARD
We know Manchester United will move for a centre-forward this summer. We know they want Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen. We also know that it won’t be easy to get either of them.
Tottenham will make life extremely difficult for United should they make a decisive move for Kane, while Napoli – not unreasonably – want a huge fee for Osimhen. Perhaps a figure in excess of £130million.
So the Red Devils are having to at least consider more attainable options and Bild reckons they’ve identified one in Randal Kolo Muani. The France striker has scored 11 goals and offered 12 assists for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this season, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by PSG either.
The story goes that United are willing to pay £105million for the 24-year-old, though Eintracht may consider offers closer to the £90million mark. Which still represents a remarkable profit on a player they signed from Nantes for nothing last summer.
RED DEVILS STILL KEEN ON KESSIE
United are also likely to be in the market for a midfielder this summer, especially if Casemiro keeps getting himself sent off.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils are hoping to pair the Brazilian with Barcelona’s Franck Kessie. United were among the clubs interested in Kessie when he was looking to leave AC Milan. Barca won that race but the Ivorian has been linked with another move ever since he arrived at the Nou Camp last summer.
United are sniffing again, but so too are Tottenham and Chelsea.

ARSENAL WILLING TO TAKE A CHANCE ON HAZARD
Remember Eden Hazard. Once upon a time, he was brilliant. And, apparently, Arsenal reckon he could be quite good again.
Hazard hasn’t come close to replicating for Real Madrid the form or fitness he showed at Chelsea. The Belgian has made only three starts for Carlo Ancelotti in La Liga or the Champions League and he hasn’t played a minute for Real since prior to the World Cup.
But Fichajes says Arsenal are keen to bring him back to London in the summer. Hazard will be entering the final year of his contract and should be available at cut-price fee.
