WANDERERS are interested in signing Swansea attacking midfielder Yan Dhanda, according to reports.

Crewe, Plymouth and Burton are also said to be interested Dhanda, who is searching for regular first-team football.

However, the 23-year-old has been offered a four-year deal by MLS club DC United, according to Sky Sports.

Dhanda came through Liverpool’s youth ranks before heading to Swansea on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.

The midfielder has scored five times in 62 games for the Welsh club, including a goal on his professional debut against Sheffield United back in 2018.

He has made seven appearances for the Swans this season, most recently in an FA Cup tie against Southampton earlier this month.

Dhanda has also represented England at Under-17 level and is also one of few EFL players with South Asian heritage, with his father’s family coming from India.

Yesterday, Ian Evatt revealed Wanderers were hoping to get two more deals over the line before Monday’s deadline.

The Whites have already brought in Dion Charles, Marlon Fossey, Aaron Morley, James Trafford and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson this month.

Evatt’s men are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they welcome second-placed Sunderland to the UniBol (KO 3pm).
